UJ Arts & Culture seeks a dynamic and highly motivated professional to join our team as a Marketing Officer. The Marketing Officer role will embrace the full range of marketing activities with a focus on sales in order to deliver high profile promotional campaigns for an exciting and innovative annual performing arts programme in three theatres as well as exhibitions, concerts and other events across four campuses. Reporting directly to the Head of Arts & Culture, the successful candidate will be a strong and confident communicator with excellent writing skills. Highly organised, hard-working and a creative problem-solver, s/he will provide a professional and committed approach to marketing and promotion of all UJ arts and culture activities. A degree qualification coupled with sales experience is essential as well as proven ability to manage multiple projects whilst delivering to agreed targets, standards and objectives. A passion for the arts, an eye for detail as well as strong design skills would be advantageous.
