Kalk Bay Theatre has announced three exciting new initiatives, providing guests with even more reasons to enjoy dinner and a show at the venue.

Introducing the Kalk Bay Theatre Loyalty Card, the HotTix! special offers and pre-reserved seating for diners.

With the Loyalty Card, patrons who buy tickets to seven shows in one year are rewarded with two tickets to their next show free of charge. Pick up the Loyalty Card at the Theatre and have it stamped every time you attend. When you qualify for your free tickets, you will be provided with a voucher to use on your next purchase.

HotTix! is a new, free system which theatre-goers sign up for to receive notifications about special ticket offers on selected shows. You can get the opportunity to buy tickets at special prices (down to as low as half price) on the afternoon of the performance. To sign up, guests can either fill in the HotTix! card at the Theatre, or send your name and cell number to kbtbookings@gmail.com – it’s that easy! When reduced-priced tickets are available on the day of the performance, you will receive a HotTix! alert by SMS and be able to book them using the normal booking facility on the website – www.kbt.co.za

Thirdly, pre-reserved seating will now be included in the price for dinner-theatre reservations. Diners, as they arrive, may take up those seats, or others if they wish, and people not dining may reserve the remaining seats on a first come first, served basis. This system will remain in operation until 7.30pm after which all remaining seats may be reserved on a first come first served basis.

“Guests can also now enjoy the a la carte dining options, created by our talented chef Hannah McMahon,” says Simon Cooper, owner of Kalk Bay Theatre. “Coffee and dessert after the show is a must, when guests can meet the performers and savour Hannah’s famous double chocolate brownies.”

When making a dinner booking on the website, guests will be asked to pay R75 deposit which is non-refundable but will be credited against the final bill.

The October programme features high-energy dance with Enerchi Emporium’s Apartment 107 (10 to 13 October), music and storytelling with Gavin Bonner’s Rapid Fire Fairytales (18,19 and 20 October) and comedy with Pierre Malherbe’s Another Friggin’ Tribute Show (24 October to 3 November).

Tickets for Apartment 107 cost R100 for show only.

Tickets for Rapid Fire Fairytales cost R70 for show only.

Tickets for Another Friggin’ Tribute Show cost R85 for show only.
