The Pro Cantare Choir with soloists from the TUT Vocal Arts Department will present an opera gala at Joburg Promusica on Friday, 28 September. The programme will consist of famous opera choruses, but also some that have never before been performed in South Africa. The Choir will share the stage with soloists from the Tshwane University of Technology Vocal Arts Department. It has become a goal of Pro Cantare to provide these young and upcoming soloists with a chance to perform with the Choir. The Choir and soloists will be accompanied by full orchestral backing tracks and conducted by Choir Master Hans van Heerden. Join us for a night at the Opera!
