South Africa's biggest and most popular rock band The Parlotones are ready to rock The Lyric Theatre at Gold Reef City Casino on 31 August. The band has just returned from a triumphant three month tour of Europe and the US. This show will be the band’s last performance in Gauteng for 2012 before they head for their next international tour. This performance at The Lyric forms part of the band's first national tour in five years. The Parlotones, fresh from festival appearances in Europe and a number of arena dates with Snow Patrol, will play all the fan favourite hits in this show. The concert at The Lyric will showcase the band's passion and professionalism with a selection of their best-loved tracks. With a melodic alternative sound and darkly romantic lyrics, The Parlotones are superstars and well-known for their radio hits as they are for their polished live performances. The band's albums Radio Controlled Robot, A World Next Door To Yours and Stardust Galaxies are all certified double platinum and their latest release has already gone gold.
