The dramatic three-hander, Inanna, Iago's Last Dance and Between, are just some of the tantalizing dishes available to whet the appetite. The fabulous line-up of innovative practitioners, powerful collaborations and exciting, thought provoking work is not to be missed. The dramatic three-hander below is just some of the tantalizing dishes available to whet the appetite: - Inanna, Queen of Heaven and Earth Directed by Tamara Guhrs Tamara Guhrs directs the intriguing Inanna, Queen of Heaven and Earth. Told through image, ritual, poetry, movement and story, Inanna, Queen of Heaven and Earth is part therapeutic workshop, part performance. This site-specific theatre experience takes an ancient Sumerian myth and transforms it into a powerful healing journey for the 21st century. A powerful parable for the reclamation of feminine power, Inanna, Queen of Heaven and Earth has enormous potential for dealing with issues such as low self-esteem, depression and powerlessness amongst women in particular. 19th floor, University Corner, East Campus Saturday 25 August 2012 at 14:00 (limited to 30 places) Booking: Tickets are available at the door: full price = R50; discount price = R20 (students, pensioners and Wits staff). - Iago’s Last Dance Directed by Leila Henriques. Between explores the areas of Jeppestown and City Suburban to see the narratives and stories they hold.
