KZN Philharmonic in concert with KZN Tertiary Institution Choirs on Sunday 12 August. The KZN Philharmonic Orchestra proudly presents its very first concert at the Durban University of Technology. The concert will take place on Sunday 12 August 2012 at the Fred Crookes Sports Centre. The concert will commence at 3pm. The choirs that will be performing at the concert are the Durban University of Technology Choirs, University of KZN Chorale, Mangosuthu University of Technology Choir and University of Zululand Choir. The concert will be led by the KZN Philharmonic’s resident conductor, Naum Rousine. The concert forms part of the orchestra’s Education and Development programme where people are educated and entertained through music. The orchestra is very pleased to be collaborating with these youth choirs and also providing them with an opportunity of performing with South Africa’s premiere orchestra. This concert is free to the public.
