The best of SA fashion and the best of SA stage combine in Nora and Delia Ephron’s new comedy at Montecasino. “Funny, compelling – brought the house down!” New York Times Pieter Toerien presents Love, Loss, and What I Wore, starring Anne Power, Rika Sennett, Louise Saint-Claire, Sharon Spiegel-Wagner and Christel Mutambo. Directed by Moira Blumenthal. Love, Loss, and What I Wore is an intimate collection of stories by Nora and Delia Ephron, based on the best-selling book by Ilene Beckerman as well as on the recollections of the Ephron’s friends. Like the popular book, Love, Loss, and What I Wore uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to! A selection of South Africa’s finest fashion designers, including Marianne Fassler and JJ Schoeman, have combined their exceptional talents to design the stunning costumes for the show. Love, Loss and What I Wore is currently playing at The Westside Theatre in New York, where it opened in 2009, as well as in Paris and Sydney.
